Job Description : Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper (Experienced Sage User)Camping World is a leading retailer in the camping and outdoor leisure sector.The role: Camping World is looking for an Accounts Assistant or experienced bookkeeper to join the head office accounts team. The successful applicant will be responsible for daily postings of invoices, credits and payments to our Sage accounting software as well as bank and supplier reconciliations.Duties: Preparation and submission of VAT records including both UK and overseas VAT registrationsPreparation of monthly Management Information for the FDBank rec and processing payments for authorisationEnter and maintain all financial records on SageLiaise with accountants to prepare annual recordsMonthly payroll and journal entryManage cash flow projectionsMaintain trail balance and P&L recordsOversight of stock control, stock data & reportingGenerate purchase order authorisations for daily ordersPurchase ledger will include invoice and credit verification and liaison with creditors to ensure data accuracy and preparation of weekly Aged Creditors, maintaining accurate purchasing data for each location, and flagging delivery and pricing errors where necessarySales ledger includes reconciling the bank and internal liaison with branches to ensure accurate records and accountability for bank deposits across a range of receivable methods and maintaining accurate sales data for each locationBookkeeping includes the receipt, processing and orderly filing of all internal accounts paperwork as well as general office administration including safe disposal of confidential information. We prefer to use electronic filingAll other tasks associated with maintaining accurate accounts and assisting the directorsThe requirement for travel I this role is limited but on occasion you may need to visit our stores or attend meetings off site or remotelyRequired Skills: Competent Sage userMS OfficeVAT reporting experiencePayroll experiencePensions experience, including auto-enrolment (we use The People’s Pension)Relevant accounting qualifications desirablePart-qualified accountant applicants consideredRelevant industry sector experience desirableHow to apply: Please send your CV by email.
