Job Description : POSITION TITLE: Assist Manager-Security Run
JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY):
Assistant Manager, Security Operations Services (Run) will support Invesco Global Security strategy and vision. Lead team of security engineers in addressing, completing, and resolving requests & incidents of the security solutions in Invesco.
Supervise the SLA, Quality and Performance of the team operations. Play a key role in maintaining the health of the security solutions as per Invesco standards.
As a leader within security architecture and engineering function, the individual will play a key role in the Global Information Security team ensuring that Invesco’s landscape is secure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Experience in leading security services, run and operational resources to delivery secure, reliable, and scalable solutions to meet business needs.
Responsible for supporting security technology as per the agreed SLAs with internal collaborators and vendor
Measure and lead individual and team & engagement performance.
Ensure the SLAs are met, and violation are reported if any
Conduct periodic review of the team and provide periodical analysis and operations quality. Publish metrics and reports as agreed with management and key collaborators
Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms concrete incident
Respond to tickets & incidents that have been assigned to the team per agreed upon service level agreements (SLA’s)
Build and publish maintenance calendar of the security solutions (patches, upgrades, improvements)
Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities in security technologies or underlying infrastructure
Assist & support security engineering manager in defining security requirements, design and build of security monitoring solutions
Work with Security Architecture, Cyber Defense, Information security Officers and Technology collaborators in maintaining the security governance of the solutions
Lead the efforts to automate and integrate various technologies in scope of security services
Lead continuous improvement efforts and facilitate innovation in delivering the services.
Assist in implementation and operationalizing security technologies
Support M & A security activities and assist in security capability transition as required
Ensuring representation in daily situational calls/CTI briefings/Crisis calls
Ensure metrics and periodic updates are provided on various projects assigned
Think and act strategically. Evaluate and implement security solutions to meet business needs
Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
Assist in hiring process to handle attrition.
Other duties as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
7+ years’ experience in IT Security with exposure on various Infrastructure security verticals
5+ years of experience deploying Security Technologies in a global environment
Hands on experience in integration of security technologies and processes
Hands-on experience with Cloud, DLP, Endpoint and network security or similar and SIEM solution implementation
Experience with/within Led security services will be an advantage
Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems, SIEM).
Knowledge of or experience with industry compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPPA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, SOC1/2, etc.
Solid understanding of cyber security framework and assessment tools
Demonstrable experience in data protection, cloud security, endpoint, application security, Identify and access management, threat and vulnerability management, SOC solutions
Experience in deploying security solutions to popular cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager.
Must have experience in performing interviews and hiring

FORMAL EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or related field or equivalent demonstrable experience. MS degree preferred

LICENSE / REGISTRATION / CERTIFICATION:
CISSP or equivalent preferred
Technology certifications/ SANS certification desired
Preferred Vendor Certifications from AWS, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
