With a 300+ member strong team that is set to double in the coming year, Haptik is truly poised to drive the world’s transition to AI-powered conversations.We are on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual for the role of Director of Pre-sales#### What will you do every day?#### As the Director of Pre-sales, you will lead Haptik’s global pre-sales team that closely works with the potential prospects to understand and assess requirements, prepare & present demonstrations of the product, and address technical queries that arise throughout the sales process. You will work, in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, to be the technical bridge between our Account Executives and their prospects. The Director of Pre-sales will provide guidance, establish best practices and create future-proof frameworks to ensure the long-term success of Haptik’s pre-sales team. You would be involved in value engineering first principle sales motion with focus on solutioning and creating seamless work unit handoffs to the Professional services team. You’d be the curator of reusable assets that would increasingly make the sales process product led. Razor focus on lean teams, driving efficiencies on automation during sales engineering demos and moving product to high degree of low code configurations in the process. You’d also be responsible for product and market evangelism by establishing a closed loop feedback with the product marketing and product management functions. Identifying and contributing to Win desk process end to end in deal lifecycle would be among the leaders day responsibilities.Ok, you’re sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?Act as an advisor to the prospect and deliver concise, compelling, value-oriented presentations (product demos, technical assessments, and reviews).Excellent grasp on customer lifecycle journey sales cycle for B2B vertical SaaS product space is a must with varied domain knowledge.Outstanding problem-solving skills and solution scoping abilities – the ability to clearly identify business requirements and map to Haptik’s products and solutions.Hands on player/coach leadership style. Leading by example is a must.Influencing new product development and roadmap evangelism.Streamline processes and drive best practices within the team, and support other Pre-sales Managers in their critical customer meetings.Assist in the development and execution of medium and long-term plans to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.Support the sales team by collaborating with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to build assets that enable Account Executives to showcase Haptik’s value proposition and key differentiators.Proactively identify impediments and resolve issues/bottlenecks that might impact deal closures or increase sales cycle.Perform win/loss analysis, closed loop feedback with the product and marketing team on positioning and solutioning gaps.Collaborate with Global Sales Leaders to identify opportunities and continuously work on Go-to-Market strategies covering tactics related to pricing, sales, the customer journey, or product introduction to a new market.Work with the Product Management team to identify and communicate customer requirements and feature requests#### Requirements*Around 10-12 years of total work experience with a minimum of 4 years in Enterprise B2B SaaS. Customer journey Automation and Conversational AI experience is preferred, but not necessary.Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills.Experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.Technical Aptitude – Software development knowledge & sound understanding of SAAS ApplicationComfortable managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.* Requirements is such a strong word.
