At the same time, we aim to break down any preconceptions of house buying companies to deliver a service that is unparalleled in the industry.We seek a commercially astute, business minded, and entrepreneurial individual who wants to participate and drive and already successful company even further. For the benefit of the development of the company and its growth, you will work closely with the Board, Directors and Senior Management on complex projects by adding input from a business and accounting perspective.Responsible for managing the finance function within the company, your primary role will be to produce the monthly and annual statutory accounts for The Property Buying Company Ltd and its other group of companies.Your key interfaces will include all internal department and colleagues, managers, external investors, external counterparties, and vendors. You will also be responsible for responding to queries and notifying relevant parties of payments being made and received.We expect you to be fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in an accounting role, (however talk to us if you don’t match this category exactly).It is essential that you have gained experience of producing full monthly accounts and have knowledge/experience of intercompany accounting and reporting. Experience of mergers and acquisitions would be useful.It is preferable you will have relevant industry experience and have dealt with auditors and managed audit requirements.Knowledge of SAGE accounting software would be desirable as well as exposure to pensions and payroll (although not essential). General duties include tax planning, credit control function, overseeing monthly payment to staff and partners via external partners, monitoring and reporting on short and long-term cash flow forecasts.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £60,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Yearly bonusBenefits:Company pensionSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All visitors to site are asked to wear a mask on arrival and sanitise their hands.
