What does the Head of Organic Performance do at Busuu?
We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Organic Performance to scale our SEO and ASO activity here at Busuu. You will play a key role in the strategy, day-to-day management and hands-on optimisation of our organic search channels to drive performance in line with our overarching growth marketing strategy, delivering against traffic and conversion targets across mobile and web.
You will:
Develop and oversee our organic acquisition strategy (SEO and ASO), both onsite/technical and offsite/content to boost our visibility and conversions (registrations and purchases) across search engines and app stores
Manage key SEO and ASO workstreams – from analytics & operations to content, technical and off-page, to fuel our organic growth across key global markets.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, I&A, Brand, Creative, Localisation and Customer Satisfaction teams on organic performance priorities, ensuring work is captured across team roadmaps.
Oversee regular audits of our website, app store pages and the competitor landscape.
Oversee the forecasting, target setting and reporting for all aspects of organic performance.
Champion SEO & ASO internally, regularly sharing ideas and best practices with the business.
Manage resources, budgets and tools to ensure we have the capabilities to achieve our ambitious organic growth targets.
The candidate
7+ years experience in organic search looking for an opportunity to scale a global, mobile-first business
Experience developing and executing organic search strategies, closely aligned to brand and audience targeting strategies
In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques (both technical and content) with proven results
Experience of product development cycles, including prioritising the roadmap based on SEO growth opportunity
You will be naturally curious, with the ability to ask the right questions in order to optimise performance
A blend of analyst and organic search marketer, you will enjoy reviewing results as much as delivering growth through creativity and innovation
Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships and lead through influence
Ideally you will have an advanced degree in a related field and experience working in a scale-up or a strong e-commerce B2C brand
