The role
As part of our customer digital transformation an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of a new team and culture of mobile application developers that will support the ongoing evolution of our My 7-Eleven App and future eCommerce experiences. What you’ll be doing
End to end development to implement product features for .NET applications
Design, code, test and implement changes to self-managed Infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline
Perform unit, system integration and performance testing as and when necessary.
Debug and perform root cause analysis of application issues.
Build and maintain automation test suite and tools for deployment and monitoring.
Write operating and system d ocumentation.
Work with Business Analysts and Test Analysts to develop application requirements and acceptance criteria.
Analyse business needs and come up with functional requirements.
What’s in your toolkit
Extensive experience as a .NET developer with C# .NET in an agile environment
Solid experience in Integration and microservice patterns
Established network and platform skills with cloud hosting experience on Azure
An appreciation of why we want things done ( i.e. a good sense of business acumen) and customer first thinking
Strong experience in .NET Core / .NET 5&6, WebApi , Webservices (REST/SOAP/OData), SQL, SCM (Git), & Unit Testing preferred
Nice to have:
Experience with DevOps tooling ( Azure Monitor , Azure DevOps )
Modernizing backend architecture (Containers, Kubernetes, etc)
Build and automation tools like Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, ARM templates, SonarQube or SonarCloud
