Job Description : This is a requirement is for Oracle Financial Services PrimeSourcing division. We are a part of Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) business unit and our specialized solutions address the unique business needs of banking and financial institutions, enabling them to make more informed business decisions and serve customers better.
Required Experience/Skill Set:
At least 12-16 years of relevant experience within a technology environment is required.
ITIL Certification or strong knowledge of ITIL concepts is mandatory
Must have at least 8 yrs relevant/hands on experience on Problem Management.
Should be well versed with various Methodologies used for Problem Management.
Should be able to manage RCA’s (Root cause analysis) and ensure closure within the given SLA’s.
Possess critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to think and act independently to resolve production issues.
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment utilizing multiple tools.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge on IT infrastructure including networks, mainframe, database, UNIX and application architecture.
Financial institution/domain experience.
Able to work in 24*7 support in different shifts pattern on rotational basis (work schedule will include weekend support as well).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Incident analysis along with team leads
Raise problem ticket based on incidents – for all priority incidents and number of incidents based on trends
Participate in weekly Problem reviews with all stakeholders, mark all problems for assigning to owners for RCA
Discuss the RCA, related issues and finalize recommendations
Resolve all Problem tasks within the Problem Management SLAs / RCA timelines
An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
