What’s this role about
We are looking for an expert JavaScript developer who is highly skilled with React JS.
Your primary focus will be developing user-facing web applications, components (Front-End JS Development) using React JS workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You’ll implement them with the React JS framework, following generally accepted practices and workflows.
You will ensure that you produce robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code.
You will coordinate with other team members, including backend developers and UX/UI designers. Your commitment to team collaboration, perfect communication, and a quality product is crucial.
Developing front-end web applications using React JS
The ability to work as part of a team, take ownership of individual components and follow coding guidelines to create performant components that fit into more comprehensive projects
Building modular and reusable components and libraries
Optimizing your application for performance
Maintaining existing React JS components and optimizing them
Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and React JS space
Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with React JS and all project dependencies throughout the projects.
Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices
What’s you should be having?
Experience of 3-5 years in working with React JS framework and modern Javascript features and functionalities.
Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and the modern ES6+ syntax and features
Highly proficient with React JS framework and its core principles
Experience with popular React JS workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs integrations through React JS
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap 4+, react-bootstrap, etc. for building responsive web applications.
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
Experience with implementing complex and great features like Google Maps, Firebase Push Notifications, High Charts, etc. through React JS
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
