You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

As a part of the team, you’ll be the primary contact for ensuring the quality of our services is maintained while also considering better ways to provide the same service in a more cost efficient manner and keeping customer satisfaction with our services high.

The primary focus of this team is to manage regional Technology & Security Operations Infrastructure Services to achieve SLA targets and performance expectations. The Service Manager works with IT suppliers to establish delivery of secure, high availability infrastructure services. Service Managers handle all aspects of infrastructure management including reviewing support delivery from IT suppliers, handling escalations, coordinating maintenance, budgeting, roadmap execution.

6 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT operations quality control, process improvement, and compliance.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in IT methodologies, service offerings and the Firm’s business at a national level including:
Working knowledge of all US IT infrastructure and the ability to understand the general architecture, design, and operating characteristics;
Understanding and executing of the business needs fulfilled by the assigned infrastructure operations technical environment;
Working in industry standard, large scale enterprise systems in assigned area which will be one or more of the following including Platform, Storage, Database, Web & App, Messaging and Collaboration, Configuration Management and/or Security Operations;
Demonstrating intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Governing, supporting, and monitoring IT operational enterprise infrastructure services;
Managing technical teams and escalation process, adhering to service management release, change, configuration, incident and problem management processes;
Managing vendor support contracts, licensing agreements and budgeting;
Managing small efforts, operational projects and facilitation of miscellaneous IT-driven requests;
Applying Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principals to deliver quality service to internal firm clients by acting as a primary point of contact for the infrastructure services and manage area adhering to ITIL standards;
Exercising independent judgment to escalate issues for resolution and meet service level agreements;
Combining technical knowledge with relevant contextual information considering upper level management informational needs to produce effective executive summaries and communications;
Working with automation of IT infrastructure and lean processes;
Influencing the operations and improvements to services for respective sponsors and stakeholders;
Monitoring cost recovery for the services managed;
Assisting the Financial Lead with data analysis and reporting, assisting with budget/costs/forecast, promoting value, stakeholder management, driving adoption and onboarding, implementing service and process enhancements, and adhering to governance and compliance standards;
Assisting Financial Lead with reviewing financials and updating forecasts on a monthly basis and any service costs changes through consistent governance and approval; Identifying opportunities to control costs;
Assisting the Financial Lead with performing multiyear seasonal financial forecasting, modeling and trend analysis based upon cloud services consumed; and,
Adhering to operation and financial governance standards and compliance activities.
