Automation Services Engineer
Job Purpose:
The Automation Engineer works as a member of the team for product implementation and integration projects normally at a customer’s site. Provides expertise in all technical aspects of the project, application design expertise, technical leadership for the customization, deployment, enablement of partners and customers (COE) on NICE Robotic Automation Solutions.
Main Responsibilities
and Deliverables:
1.
Design robotic automation solutions, data structures and the integration with other data sources and destinations, such as web applications (IE, Chrome, Edge, Firefox), terminal applications, web services, database, dot net, Siebel, Sap, Oracle Forms, Salesforce and others.
2.
Understand project scope, define the design and provide high level estimation of effort involved.
3.
Assist in the requirement, design and development of user interface functionality and the implementation of workflow rules.
4.
Interact with representatives from the business and IT to understand requirements.
5.
Provide automation best practices for implementations, quality standards, and guidelines on all phases of project.
6.
Ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly installed and integrated.
7.
Provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project
8.
Provide functional technical expertise of development tools, implementation methodology and/or related technology.
9.
Resolve technical issues related to automation solution and/or product functionality
10.
Consistently demonstrates creativity and problem-solving skills
11.
Participate in transferring technical knowledge to the customer and/or partners.
12.
Communicate with engineering about customer technical feedback on implementation of product related enhancement and fixes.
13.
Be the NICE technical point of contact for assigned projects from inception to completion
14.
Provide coaching and mentorship support (when necessary) to team members.
15.
Maintain regular communication and updates to customers and Internal Stake Holders throughout the project
16.
Ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences in both written and verbal form
17.
Manage time effectively and efficiently
18.
When required, travel to customer site and conduct work in a professional and organized manner.
Qualifications / Education:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree.
Demonstrated ability to design and configure features using a variety of technical skills (e.g., SQL, UI, Java, C, C#, VB, Python etc.).
Knowledge of HTML coding and web development – Java Script, jQuery, Angular Js, Reactor, nodeJS etc.
Knowledge on using Attended / Unattended Bots (of leading RPA platforms UiPath, Automation Anywhere etc)
Experience with a contact center environment and technology including CRM Systems, dialers, CTI, terminal emulators.
Experience working as part of a team on large scale IT customization and implementation projects and have the ability to translate customer business requirements into functional and technical designs.
Experience of Object-Oriented Design and database queries.
Proficient with Linux, Microsoft Server
Experience on web services on client side (invoking).
Demonstrated experience of defining the architecture and software design.
Familiarity with business rules and Boolean logic.
Experience in leading a team for project delivery
Excellent English communication with Strong analytical and debugging skills
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies independently and quickly
Proven ability to follow processes and methodologies
