The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?.
The Connectivity Solutions Group (CSG) under Amazon Devices team is looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager to help us build and execute various lifecycle marketing programs – that drive customer engagement and retention for one of our newer B2C subscription products. This role holder will ideally be someone who can deeply understand the customer’s lifecycle, value perception & usage patterns to leverage opportunities for sustainable revenue growth. S/he will be responsible for driving successful engagement programs, partner with related Amazon teams to help build win-win propositions and build proactive mechanisms to identify churn propensities and enhance retention. The person must therefore be able to make data-driven decisions, be performance oriented and demonstrate an ability to think through problems strategically. The role holder is also expected to deal with considerable amount of ambiguity, uncertainty and thus be able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence without authority. This role may require managing a team and will be based out of Mumbai.

Key job responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this Sr. Product Marketing Manager are as follows:

Conceptualize and execute the strategy to drive customer engagement and retention as per goals.
Identify clear and actionable opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth as per goals
Build an in-depth understanding of the evolving category landscape and consumer preferences
Work backwards from customer usage analytics and primary research insights to input and inform the long-term product roadmap
Create and execute always-on lifecycle programs to drive higher engagement across benefits – MAU, frequency and depth
Grow average customer revenue by launching initiatives such as upgrade programs and pricing revisions
Identify means to build churn predictability (to improve retention) and process automation (to enable efficiencies at scale)
Identify breakpoints in key customer journeys and come up with UX recommendations to reduce friction
Partner with related Amazon teams to help build win-win propositions
Regularly monitor performance in depth to build data-driven recommendations
Present high-quality documents to senior leadership
MBA from a premier B-school.
7+ years of marketing experience
Solid knowledge of the Telecom /Broadband OR TV/entertainment landscape OR streaming platforms
Experience with services marketing to nurture usage, reduce churn and make pricing interventions.
Experience in influencing cross- functional stakeholders and leadership
