Founded in 2017, we’ve experienced exciting growth and our headcount currently sits at around 80 people. We’re looking for talented people to join our team who can provide value and help Admix enter into its next stages of success.
What will you be managing in this role
Develop, and maintain high quality, testable and performant software using agile practices.
Help the team choose the best solutions and technologies for the task in hand.
Be participating in the full software life-cycle, including support and continuous integration.
Design, implement and document of solutions in collaboration with Developers, Testers, SRE
Collaborate on non-technical and technical requirements with Product Lead
Maintain automated unit and integration test cases
Responsible for CI/CD and release pipeline being set up
Responsible for overseeing all activities within a team
Responsible for determining the goals that members will work toward
Lead and mentor team members through code reviews and feature design
Monitor team performance and report on metrics
Drive software development practices
Work closely with other agile delivery teams
Core Tech Stack Knowledge
6+ yrs Javascript / Typescript
4+ yrs React (or relating frameworks)
2+ yrs AWS
Swagger / OpenAPI
MongoDB
Elasticsearch
Experience in DevOps activities, familiarity with Github, and CircleCI
Experience with Docker, REST API, web performance, cloud orchestrators, testing frameworks.
Key experience we’re looking for
Experience building and delivering distributed web applications
Expert with JavaScript
Extensive experience with React (or other front end libraries)
CSS/SASS
Experience with CI/CD mechanics
Experience with Docker / Containerisation (Kubernetes)
Strong experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as Mocha, Chai, Sinon
Experience working within an Agile environment such as Scrum
Experience with NodeJS / ServerlessJs
Experience with Typescript
A track record of delivering SaaS and P applications with a proven ability to deliver enterprise products to budget and time
Familiarity with ES6 / CSS3 syntax
Ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to the team
Good understanding of the good software design principles (e.g. OO, DRY, SOLID)
Experience with full-stack development and DevOps
Experience with distributed version controls systems like Git
Experience with pair programming
Understanding of Accessibility standard methodologies
Nice to haves ✔
Good knowledge of state management practises (redux at scale)
Experience working with microservice architecture
Experience working with Serverless / Lambda environments or Stateless computing
