Our client is looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior to join their professional and friendly team at their Thirsk offices. If you have at least three years’ audit experience, they want to hear from you.

Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in North Yorkshire, with offices in Thirsk, Ripon, Pateley Bridge, Leyburn and Harrogate. They offer accounts, payroll, taxation and business advisory and support services to a wide range of businesses and individuals.
They are looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior to join the team in Thirsk.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will be split 70% accounts, 30% audits and will involve:
Accounts prep for direct review at partner level
Tax return prep – CT and SATR
Conducting audits from planning to completion, including leading on-site work
Supervising junior staff as required
You will be working with a client base of mainly OMBs/not-for-profit companies with turnover of up to around £20m.
About You
Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified but QBE considered
Audit experience essential – minimum 3 years
Excellent communicator, comfortable dealing with clients directly
Deadline driven and able to plan and deliver own workload
This role has arisen due to an internal promotion, so progression is available within the firm for the right candidate.
