Within the Scooters Coffee brand sits Harvest Roasting, which includes our warehouse, bakery, and roastery. DESCRIPTION
Scooters Coffee is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing & Loyalty to create an amazing online and brand engagement consumer experience. This newly-created position is full-time and will report to the Vice President of Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer and manage, lead, and develop a team of subject matter experts in the areas of Loyalty, Mobile App, Web/SEO, Email Marketing, eCommerce and Social Media. The Director of Digital Marketing & Loyalty will be responsible for setting and overseeing strategic direction, loyalty KPIs and program improvements, member analytics, communication and promotions. This role will have high visibility to leadership and will require the ability to translate their vision of execution to the Executive team.
LOCATION
This position will be based out of the Scooters Coffee Headquarters in Omaha, NE. Remote opportunities are available with monthly travel to HQ.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be hands-on, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively with both the Franchise Development, Information Technology & Customer Marketing teams
Must be data driven (utilizing multiple internal data systems) to measure marketing performance and creative. He/she will be responsible for providing original research and benchmarking industry best practices, to ensure the most effective ongoing digital presentation and creative expression of the brand, providing a customer experience that is consistent with Scooters Coffees exceptional standards
Working within a dynamic and highly collaborative culture, this role will be responsible for the on-brand, on-strategy execution, and oversight local actions by translating national marketing strategies into creative concepts consistent with the Scooters Coffee standard, aesthetic, and voice.
Will work closely with external agencies and cross functional internal team members and will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of various digital marketing channels, including Paid/Organic Search, Affiliate Marketing, Email, Web, Mobile App Loyalty, and social media.
Develop multi-year digital and loyalty strategies while collaborating cross functionally toward the implementation of the loyalty program structure and member experience.
Be accountable for program KPIs around membership growth, franchisee profitability and brand engagement. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Agency and Loyalty vendors
Collaborate with internal Finance, Brand and Technology teams to establish and achieve an annual loyalty operating plan, including Loyalty membership growth, revenue targets, expenses, discounts and store-level profitability.
Expertise in operating on both strategic and tactical levels, translating vision to execution. The right candidate will have hands on expertise in an eCommerce and mobile focused environment, a track record of leveraging changes in consumer behavior, as well as a passion for the Scooters Coffee brand.
Extensive experience in financial analysis driving annual, monthly and weekly cost and revenue budgets. Individual must be driven by brand and business metrics, particularly ROI, to deliver traffic, revenue, and engage existing and new customers to the brand.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing/Information Technology preferred
5+ years in a similar capacity: brand, retailer, or agency with strong focus on communications and content
Experience managing and motivating a team
Experienced digital marketing manager with a creative & entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of urgency and drive for results
Direct experience executing channel strategies is preferred as well as someone who is an effective communicator and presenter; crafts compelling presentations and presents confidently at a senior level
This person should have strong analytic and insight skills; the ability to deep dive data and translate into actionable recommendations and possesses strong influence skills, the poise, and the ability to gain alignment and investment from stakeholders
Must have retail brand sensibility in terms of content, visuals, copy and leadership experience
Proficiency with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and social media monitoring platforms
Strong understanding of technical aspects of search engine optimization
Experience in analytics and delivering to KPIs
