We trust in people with the right attitude, and we continously reward hard work and consistency.About the roleWe are looking for Disability Support Workers in Melbourne’s North, West and South-East area.Currently we have availabilities for carers skilled in mental health and wellbeing supports as well as personal care and community access supports.Support workers need to be committed in their duty of care toward the participants.Duties include: · Travelling to client’s homes and assisting with daily living supports· Assist client with transportation and community access· Following policy & procedure such as OHS & Covid-19· Implementing care plans and achieving goals with participants· Maintain accurate reporting (includes digital timesheets, risk & incident reports, roster app, etc.)· Proactive honest and transparent communication & feedback.· A confident, goal oriented and strength based approach· Engagement in social skills developments· Engagement in Skill building community activities· Eye for detail concerning environmental or in-home risks· Consistent communication and exhibiting leadershipDocument Requirements (We will happily assist you in acquiring following documnets in onboarding process)· Working With Children Check· NDIS Screening Check· Australian Police Check· First Aid & CPR Certificate· NDIS Orientation Module· COVID-19 Infection Control TrainingMust have· Valid Covid-19 Immunisation certificate· Valid Driver’s License & Own CarJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, CasualPart-time hours: 10-15 per weekSalary: $27.00 – $32.00 per hourBenefits:Professional development assistanceTravel reimbursementSchedule:Day shiftMorning shiftOn callSupplementary Pay:Performance bonusLicence/Certification:First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)Working with Children Check (Preferred)National Police Certificate (Preferred)Driver Licence (Preferred)
