Experian is seeking a customer focused, data-driven Digital Optimisation Executive with a passion to improve our online user experience. The Digital Optimisation Executive will support the UK&I Consumer Services division, with a primary focus on optimising our App experience for our Free and Paid products.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver the optimisation strategy and testing roadmap for App; including, improving the commercial performance of the product (through cross-sell and upsell) and leveraging customer data and behaviour to personalise user experiences.
The role
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Optimisation Executive to join the team who are responsible for the commercial performance and customer experience of all pages that sit across Experian’s consumer site.
You will be responsible for:
Test delivery: own the delivery of the testing roadmap for our Free and Paid App products. Attend all agile ceremonies (sprint reviews, sprint planning, stand ups, etc.), ensure briefs are clearly defined with thorough acceptance criterias and keep a close handle on the development of assigned tickets.
Test analysis: closely monitor and analyse the performance of optimisation tests. Produce thorough conclusion reports to distribute to the wider business, highlighting test performance, customer behaviour insights, revenue impacts and more.
App performance: rigorously monitor conversion rate performance across all commercial journeys on the Free App. Provide regular updates and analysis on the performance of key journeys in weekly trading meetings with senior stakeholders. Use heatmapping tools and session replay findings to analyse customer behaviour.
Customer journey mapping: support the eCommerce team to conduct quarterly customer journey mapping sessions that deep-dive into user behaviour – understanding customer pain points and areas for improvement. Translate these insights into creative solutions that champion the customer and enhance their online user experience.
Project management: oversee the end-to-end delivery of all prioritised optimisation tests. This role will work closely with teams of UX designers, content writers, developers and analysts, to produce engaging tests that will entice customers to use our services.
Collaborate with product teams: keep close contact with the App product team to schedule the launch of tests and feature releases, as well as providing regular updates on test results and app performance.
Test governance: ensure all tests have Compliance sign off and follow regulatory processes before going live. Create detailed documentation outlining the test roadmap that can be easily audited.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about championing the customer and keen to consistently identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and our commercial KPIs.
Core skills:
Experience in a role that involves A/B testing
Proven track record of improving conversion rates and customer experiences.
Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritising appropriately.
Experience of working with analytics tools (preferably GA) and session replay tools (preferably SessionCam)
Experience in online trade would be desirable.
Numerate and data driven.
Can-do positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from end-to-end.
Confident and effective communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
