A more resilient, engaged and productive workforce – strengthening the health of individuals and business.We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help us on our mission to supercharge employee wellness by producing crucial and timely software solutions.The Fullstack Developer is an engaging role, working on both front-end (client side) and back-end (server side) elements of the Kiteline Health product.As an early member of a fast-growing startup, the role is dynamic and multi-faceted. You will be part of a vibrant, diverse and talented team. The Developer will work closely with Jurriaan Mous, our Head of Product and Tech to continue to build out our custom-built platform. You will also work regularly with our Co-Founders, Candice Hampson CEO and Christine Beardsell CMO, as well as the content/design team.As a Full Stack Developer, you will be jointly responsible for the full software development life cycle. You should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages and development frameworks. You will work on both the front-end UI (Kiteline’s web app used by clients), and the back-end data layer, which handles storage and secures data retrieval. You will also be responsible for evaluating designs, building out product features and ensuring quality through testing.This role requires someone who is proactive, hands-on and open to feedback, and great at devising solutions to improve our workflow, quality, security and speed of delivery. A successful applicant will be a team player and a natural problem solver, with a talent for and interest in appealing visual design and utility.Working on a quickly evolving product in the exciting field of health technology, you are comfortable working fairly autonomously in a fast-paced environment. We work in small sprints, focusing on designing, building and deploying iterative changes to allow us to learn quickly, inform our metrics and discover what works best.This role would suit a self-starting, enthusiastic individual, with experience in developing interactive web apps, who is passionate about prioritising health and wellbeing to improve people’s lives, and is keen to work in an exciting and dynamic startup. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact on the future of Kiteline Health and will make a real difference in supporting people living with long-term health conditions to lead happier and healthier lives.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild out new features within our Kotlin Multiplatform / Typescript / ReactJS based platform;Create new components and screens for our application, ensuring everything is responsive for use on mobile devices;Build out new data retrieval endpoints and use them from the front-end code;Create Unit, UI and integration tests for written code;Improve front-end usability and accessibility where applicable; andImprove backend security, performance and robustness where applicable.Experience, attributes and knowledge required2+ years of development experienceExperience with Kotlin JVM and open to work with Kotlin JS (Multiplatform)TypeScript and ReactJS (hooks) experienceExperience with writing Unit/Integration/UI testsFamiliarity with responsive design & Design SystemsFamiliarity with web-app security risks and best practiceFamiliarity with the agile way of working (e.g. Epics, Stories, etc.)Open to work with Amazon AWS services like ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3Plus: Not afraid to set up CI pipelines for automated building and testingPlus: Not afraid to do refinements to the design/UX of proposed components or improve the robustness and security of the back-endLocationUK-wide. Kiteline Health operates as a remote-only company, which means you can work from anywhere within the UK.
