Overall responsibilities and duties:
The software engineer who will be responsible for Embedded C development for Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science
M.Tech Electronics.
Experience:
8-10 years experience in Automotive SW development.
Skills and competencies:
Must Have:
Experience in IVI based on Linux and Android.
Experience in Middle layer development and customization.
Experience in IPC using D-Bus, Common-API/FIDL and VSomeIP.
Experience in working with Android / Linux libraries for Multimedia, Graphics, Security etc.
Good understanding of Audio(MP3, AAC etc) and Video ( H.264, H.265 Mjpeg) codecs and streaming (RTSP).
Good understanding of Multimedia frameworks (gstreamer, Openmax)
Experience in C/C++, Scripting, Make/Cmake.
Experience in debugging tools like gdb,strace,ftrace etc.
Experience in working with loggers to store logs on device or remotely (DLT etc.).
Good understanding of Continuous build using Jenkins, Linux and Android Build tools.
Experience in integration and validation methodologies.
Experience in working with Git and Gerrit.
Experience in screen projection technologies Carplay, Android Audio, Baidu Carlife, Miracast, Mirrorlink etc.
Experience in Voice Recognition application based on Alexa and native solutions.
Experience in Audio Calibration, Diagnostics, tunning and audio post processing using DSP etc.
Experience Audio management for USB/MTP, Bluetooth, Telephony, Navigation, Tuner, Carplay, Android Auto, Baidu Carlife sources.and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
Must have Good interfacing knowledge of BT, WI-FI , Audio Codec Chip, Graphics & Touch controls.
Should have Understanding of MIPI – CSI & DSI ( Camera & Display)
Should have knowledge of BT, WI-FI and USB Certifications.
Experience with revision control tools( GIT) ,issue-tracking tools JIRA/DOOR, Review tools (GERRIT) etc.
Should have good exposure to work on debugger ( Seggar, J-Link, Green Hills etc)
Should have good experience for Firmware( Board Bringup) + Bootloader development/ Customization.
Should have good knowledge of Multimedia Experceince – Audio Video Codec.
Good to have Knowledge of Functional Safety and Cyber Security.
Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up test benches.
Must be a good team player and act as per the project needs
Business level of English.
Nice to have:
Experience of working in Scrum team in Agile methodology.
Responsibilities:
Development/ Maintainence of existing products and modules.
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
Write well-designed, testable code.
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Should able to perform PEER reviews
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
Comply with project plans and industry standards.
Ensure software is updated with latest features
