This Amberfication is led by in-store, mobile app and on-line payments.About the opportunity: We are looking for a Product Owner to join our OpyPro team to help us to continue expanding and enhancing our unique OpyPro SaaS platform: https://www.opy.com/au/business/opypro/You will work closely with our Head of B2B, customers, technologists, security and operations team on new feature development and product rollouts to new enterprise customers while helping to facilitate collaboration across the business.The ideal candidate is from a SaaS background, strategic problem solver, eager learner, and well-rounded cross-functional team player ready to tackle challenges in the payments space. In this role, you will develop a clear understanding of the OpyPro platform, processes, and rules within the different OpyPro modules; and drive innovation and enhanced experience for some of the largest Australian and international brands.What you’ll be responsible for: Manage the roadmap and product backlog for the OpyPro platform.Gather and write requirements for new features from internal and external stakeholders.Identify product improvement opportunities and collate product feedback.Define acceptance criteria for User stories/featuresParticipate in all Agile team meetings including product backlog planning, sprint planning, daily stand-up, and sprint retrospective.Be responsible for the sprint demos delivered to key stakeholders to gather valuable feedback.Undertake high level business analysis to Identify and manage risks and dependencies.The Team you’ll be joiningWe believe every new team member has an opportunity to add to our culture – we’re a vibrant team of Podcasters, Ultra-Marathoners, Weightlifters, Chess Players, Students and more, so we’re looking for people who want to be part of a diverse and ever changing team.As we grow, we change, so you’ll be flexible, willing to evolve as our systems and processes do. Most importantly, you’ll be kind – our team appreciate and support each other (particularly this year) so you’ll want to be part of that team spirit.What you’ll need to have: Previous experience of at least 3 – 5 years working with SaaS products and cross-functional software development teams in an agile environment, ideally on the B2B software productsProven ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality requirements and product documentationExperience running discovery workshops with internal and external stakeholdersStrong experience with user stories, product backlogs, epics, story cards, etc.Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skillsGood understanding of the credit, funding, and business process optimization domainsProactive approach, continuously seeking ways to achieve business and technology alignment, ability to think outside the box and solve problems creativelySelf-starter with high energy, motivation and focus on achieving targetsA positive attitude; flexible and open to changePrevious experience in a payments or Fintech industry would be highly regardedIf this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!Short-listed candidates will be advised by telephone.
