We work right in the heart of Brighton, helping organisations of all sizes to bring their digital applications to life and support them during their lifecycle.We are looking for an experienced Project /Account Manager to join our team to help keep our projects running smoothly, on time and on budget and act as the main point of contact for our clients. As the Project/Account Manager you will be working alongside a great and talented team of developers, delivering projects for clients in a wide range of sectors. Reporting to our Senior Management Team (SMT), you will also be part of the core operations team and working closely with Head of Development and Operations Manager to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. Flexibility and the ability to deliver in a dynamic environment are important. You will also need to be a good communicator as you will take part in daily stand ups, planning sessions and liaise directly with clients as and when required.We would like to meet someone who has the drive, energy, and enthusiasm to smash this role and in addition, is seeking a long-term career opportunity. A “can do” attitude is a must have!Responsibilities:DeliveryDelivering complex website/portal/web app projects from brief to launchTracking the project deliverables and matching those with agreed deadlinesMonitoring and proactively managing project risks and opportunityPlanningAbility to prioritise and manage multiple projects against deadlinesManaging changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issuesManage projects using an agile/waterfall approach, planning sprints, reviews, and client contactAdjusting schedules and targets on the project as needsRunning client/internal scrum meetingsScheduling and coordinating development resources together with Ops ManagerQuality assurance – performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected before release to clientsBudgetingMonitor budgets and projects progress and respond to changes in specificationTrack development time against project and ensure project profitabilityReporting to SMT on financial progressReportingReport on project outcomes to SMTReporting on projects progress to clients – creating documentation / reports / status updatesAccount ManagementHolding daily scrum meeting with client where requiredStrong ability to build effective working relationships with the internal team and external providers at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve company objectivesIdentify new business opportunities with current clients’ base to grow accounts with a focus on revenueSupporting existing customers and ensuring they always receive the highest level of customer serviceAnd never less:Running internal scrum meeting together with Senior PMProblem solving to ensure key project objectives do not slipAct as the go between for clients and the internal teamsMotivating all team members while keeping focused on the main objectivesAbout you:Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skillsEffective communicator with strong organisational and planning skills who enjoys coordinating individuals and projectsMethodical and thorough with a mature attitude towards workAbility to prioritise and deliver in a fast paced and ever-changing environmentPrevious experience in the industry is preferred but not essentialPrevious experience using any of the following is preferred: Kanban, Trello, Azur Dev Ops, Zendesk, Jira, Asana, SharePoint, XeroBenefits:In return Boxharry will offer you –Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per yearRoyal London Pension SchemeChristmas shut downHalf day on your birthdayBeer FridaysRegular team socialsHybrid office/home working availableRegular performance reviews and feedbackDevelopment and continuous improvement opportunitiesA great working atmosphere and working in a cool office in the centre of BrightonJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Project Management: 1 year (preferred)Reference ID: ACBHPM
