The Marketing team at Shopee is responsible for conceptualising and implementing go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The team covers areas including Campaigns Management, Community, Public Relations, Partnerships, Offline Marketing and Design. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for strategising and implementing go-to-market activities and working with local teams to localise marketing for the specific markets. The Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing for the region. About the Team:
The Discovery team looks at in-app product pages & assets along a user’s journey, such as: homepage, banner, search, product collection.
Job Description:
Define customer needs and products specifications with local marketing teams to propose and initiate new features
Draft designs and establish project timelines for product development
Collaborate with product, local marketing, business development and operations teams to develop and execute product features, ensure smooth delivery of projects
Communicate the value of new products to local teams, and create product content to educate both internal and external stakeholders about product features and benefits
Conduct market research and brainstorm creative ideas for untapped opportunities
Track and analyse the performance of existing discovery elements (homepage, microsite, and app assets), to proactively identify and recommend solutions, evaluate new initiatives; to optimise and achieve commercial objectives and performance insights across the region
Requirements:
2 – 5 years of experience in business analyst / business intelligence / CRM / segmentation roles
Logical thinking and strong problem solving skills
Great attention to details and excellent data sense
Ability to be creative operationally and strategically
Strong spreadsheet and analytics skills
Excellent command of English
Reliable team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
