Summary
As a java developer reporting to a squad lead you will be responsible for developing new capabilities for enterprise class java applications built on a modern technology stack bootstrapped with Spring Boot leveraging the GraphQL, Spring Data-JPA and Elasticsearch technologies on AWS. Other responsibilities will include participating in code reviews, fixing defects, authoring test cases and participating in agile development practices like sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives.
What you will do
Work with your squad lead to complete assigned stories, tasks and defects
Author unit tests as needed
Review code submissions and aid during the deployment press
Participate in agile development practices such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
Support developed solutions in production
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field
Excellent communications skills
Critical thinking and autonomy
Strong knowledge of OO design and architecture best practices
Ability to produce clean code and follow project conventions
Excellent pull request review skills and attention to detail
Work independently and in team settings as required
