As part of our exciting expansion plans, we are looking for an experienced, driven and self-motivated mobile developer to join our team! You will work closely with a great team of highly technical developers to create and further advance our cutting edge, best in class suite of retail solutions. We are looking to recruit individuals who have great mobile development experience working with HTML5, CSS3 and Angular 2+ with TypeScript.

This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the product development life cycle, from involvement with our ever-evolving product roadmap to new product developments and 3rd line support. We are looking for someone who can utilise their expertise to develop and improve both new and current mobile applications and processes and can create innovative, market-leading solutions for our customers.

What would be my main responsibilities?
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional deliverables (applications/functions) writing clean code
Work with provided requirements, gather the information they need, R&D, and suggest solutions
Write code and unit tests
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
Design interfaces to improve user experience
Liaise with Analysts to develop new features
Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards and maintain those
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
Job requirements

What we’d like from you

At least 5 years of experience developing mobile applications on Android, Windows and universal platforms
At least 5 years of experience in web development using HTML5 & CSS3
Good working experience with Angular 2+ with TypeScript
Experience in mobile development using Ionic Cordova, Android and iOS
.NET MVC and WebAPI using ASP.NET Core / C#
Exposure to non-SQL databases: cosmosdb or documentdb
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Visual Studio
Good understanding of consuming web services
Good understanding of cross-platform compatibility issues
Knowledge of programming methodologies, standards and techniques including code reusability
Understanding of technical feasibility of UI/UX design wireframes and translating them into code
Working experience with source code management tools (SVN, git)

The following would be a great advantage:

Understanding of databases, especially SQL Server
Basic knowledge of image manipulation tools and technics
Experience or knowledge of retail industry software systems
