Role and responsibilities :
As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible to design and develop Plivo’s Mobile SDKs and Applications.
Own the development and maintenance of native SDKs and Apps on different mobile platforms, their respective OS versions and devices.
Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers and Technical Leaders on new product specification/enhancements and execute the feature roadmap.
Articulate complex problems, communicate viable architecture and design approaches in a clear and concise manner.
Produce and ensure delivery of quality, performant, readable and well-tested code.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment, work with ambiguous product requirements and shared backend APIs.
Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day to day basis.
Skills Required :
4-6 years of experience in native Mobile SDK or Application development.
Strong understanding and proficiency in at least one mobile language (Swift, Java, Objective-C).
Experience in Android Studio, Xcode IDE, Interface Builder, Code Signing and debugging tools.
Excellent knowledge of UIKit, PushKit, Cocoa Touch, NotificationCenter and Socket Programming.
Should have a portfolio of Apps or SDKs already built and deployed in the App Store or Google Play.
Familiarity with push notifications, REST APIs and cloud messaging.
Experience with React Native, Flutter, Xamarin is a plus.
Knowledge of VoIP(Voice Over IP), WebRTC is a plus.
Preferred to have experience working with AWS components (EC2, S3, SNS, CDN, Lambda).
Working knowledge of Git and proficiency with at least one build server(Jenkins/Travis/CircleCI).
