Job Description : Technical Support Lead – IoT TechnologyLiverpool, United KingdomFULLTIMEOFFICE (when required) + REMOTEEstimated Start Date: June 2022£28 – £35k (Depending on experience)We’re in business to continually improve independent living to people who need care so they can live a happy and fulfilling life. Your role will contribute to this purpose by leading the technical fulfilment customer experience: Installing our Hydracare technology into Care Organisations, maintaining it, building customer relationships, providing insights to the R&D team with the goal to drive impactful customer experiences, and help manage stock, logistics and returns. Other opportunities will likely be available on an ongoing basis as you progress with the company and watch it grow.Key AccountabilitiesInstalling and Maintaining Hydracare Technology: Build, iterate and refine the customer fulfilment process internally or with a vendor with a focus on facilitating and ensuring correct integration with Care Organisations (Direct & 3rd party resellers). Perform installation validation and identify areas for troubleshooting.Planning and coordinating gateway and sensor site installation activities.Audit customers connectivity infrastructure capabilities, advise on improvements and liaise with any 3rd party customer technical support services.Maintain and manage records of customer site information whilst adhering to GDPR regulations.Work closely with Customer Success Executive to ensure smooth collaboration with customers and report on issues, successes, and ideas for continuous improvement.Maintain the technology after installation: Monitor and review the data flow at each site on an ongoing basis by working alongside software engineers; coordinate hardware troubleshooting and issue-solving when required.Manage our Hydratrack dashboard to keep it up to date, organised and report on potential bugs.Conduct basic Amazon Web Services actions (alongside software engineers) to help integrate Aquarate data with 3rd party telecare providers.Providing Insights to the R&D TeamReporting to the Product Development Manager:Based on customer and business needs, be aware of ongoing qualitative customer insights to record and report to the R&D team for continuous improvement or new innovation opportunities.Continually identify & report on any potential product reliability issues through a robust and thorough recording process.Participate in brainstorms to help think of new ideas and opportunities for future innovationWork cross-functionally with the rest of the Aquarate team.Stock Management, Logistics & ReturnsManage stock levels and storage internally and with a 3rd party logistics vendor.Help with company logistic strategies as the company grows.Work alongside the technical team to report on and supply potential product recalls.Manage product returns, maintenance, cleaning and servicing processes.Growth OpportunitiesAs a startup with a small team, it’s important that the successful candidate is able to adapt to ongoing change within the role, the business and workstreams. These can be driven by you, or Aquarate to add value to the business.Pre-RequisitesIn order to succeed in this role, it’s likely you will be/have:Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a technical role or related fieldIdeally, a minimum of 1 – 2 years experience with IoT technologiesStrong understanding of networking is essential (involving the setup of BLE mesh networks, WIFI, LTE and Ethernet)Experience working alongside an eclectic team of engineersTech and digitally savvy: proficient in problem identification, problem solving, finding root causes and acting accordinglyA natural drive to keep information and tasks organisedAn open thinker, ability to use initiative and evidence of smart decision making skillsPassionate about our business purpose and the communities we serveConscientious, empathetic and able to work independently or closely with the teamWilling to learn new skills and relentlessly determinedAble to deal with constraints which are outside of your controlProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Clear written and spoken communication skills with attention to detailMust be flexible to travel nationally for product installation and customer supportMust hold a UK clean driving licenseWhy should you be interested in this role?
