We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to work within the development team, by contributing to the delivery of high-quality software documentation that is accurate, timely, and audience-appropriate. This position will be located in our Pune Office.

A Day in the Life:
Design, develop, and maintain quality end user documents
Work extensively with the product team to gain an understanding of the technical details and functioning
Understand enhancements of the product and document the enhancements in easily understandable, and succinct conceptual and procedural information for technical and non-technical end users
Estimate the effort and time required to update documentation
Take ownership of on-time quality deliverables to customers
Write clearly and effectively
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to learn new technology and products quickly
Attention to detail both aesthetically and technically
Use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems
Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
Familiarity of MSTP style guide
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

2 – 5 years of relevant work experience
Good to have certification in Technical Writing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving and analytical skill
Have an eye for detail, and a keen desire to learn
Hands on experience on documentation tools; Confluence and Adobe FrameMaker is an advantage
Ability to work individually as well as in a team
Ability to analyze information and structure a document
Ability to be self-directing with strong prioritization and time-management skills
Ability to deliver content in stipulated timeline
looking for someone who has prior experience in writing release notes.
Have a positive and proactive attitude towards work
Masters degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering degree.
