The Role:

Terri Scheer is Australia’s leading landlord insurance specialist. Our policies can protect landlords from risks caused by tenants that standard building, home and contents insurance may not cover.

We are looking for a passionate and customer focused person to join our Claims team, overseeing a mixture of claims including loss of rental income, tenant damage, water damage, electric motor burnout and further loss types.

We are based in Adelaide CBD and have a fantastic office environment and will provide in-depth on the job training. We are a driven team that has a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a sustained high level of service to insured customers and property managers across the range of Terri Scheer Insurance landlord insurance products.
Review and processing claims including liaising closely with customers, assessing loss and determining claims settlement
Self-manage and monitor individual workload to ensure all claims are processed within Code of Practice guidelines and internal service standards.
Adopt a customer focus in the delivery of internal/external Services
Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers
Have quality conversations with our customers to explain the claims process, claim outcomes and offer support throughout the claim life.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience and passion for delivering brilliant customer service
Proficient computer skills including professional email writing and data accuracy
Knowledge & understanding of the insurance market is beneficial
Time management skills
Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment
To be resilient and have an ability to positively manage difficult situations
Communication Skills – ability to effectively explain information both verbally and in writing
A high level of attention to detail
