What we’re looking for:
You will work with Network Operations global team. You will work with other IT and business teams to deliver best in class enterprise products and support to Citrix internal users. With your team, you will enable the build out, onboarding and operational support of user facing systems and solutions, and actively participate in the incident and outage process to ensure proper root cause analysis and appropriate follow-up with affected contacts. This role calls for a balance of leadership, hands-on technical skills, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, and expertise in enterprise-level operations. You should have extensive experience with network and cloud technologies including Citrix and Cisco. You will need to be able to proactively work alongside your team members in solutioning and solving technical tasks. This is an “Admin Account” position.
Position overview
In this role, you will be a hands-on, technical team lead that leads and participates directly in implementing and supporting solutions as part of the Network Operations and Network Services team within Citrix IT. The overall team is responsible for all IT managed data network and network connectivity. The team also has responsibility for management of Cloud enabled components / other private and public cloud based systems, as well as Network Device Management and Monitoring Platforms (PRIME/DNAC/NetBrain/SolarWinds) and software maintenance of these platforms. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated problem-solver and systems thinker. You are passionate about your work and detail-oriented. You like to use data to influence decisions, and enjoy communicating with people at all levels of the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
Leading and managing a team of high-performing individual contributors and their ongoing talent development
Join in as a technical expert to assist the team with problem resolution and technical solutions.
Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels
Partner with Global Security Architecture team to ensure secure configurations
Manage production environments – driving consistent service delivery and operational excellence through the use of monitoring and automation
Act as a technical expert, drive roadmaps and strategy with the Sr.Manager of Network Services
Support network infrastructure and IT systems across multiple corporate locations, datacenters and in the cloud
Identify opportunities for improved proactive monitoring of systems & applications
Maintain IT Compliance and Change Control processes
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and change management guidelines
Support the 24×7 operation of global data network infrastructures
Work with telecommunication providers, internal Field Services, and other infrastructure teams on incident resolution
Good problem management/resolution capability with hands on ability and customer facing skills
Sound Knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework and process
Understanding of SAFe Agile process is desirable
Basic Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Five years of work experience with communications networks or the equivalent in training and experience.
Two years management experience with proven leadership abilities.
Ability to be hands on and technical to support systems and infrastructure
Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by rhythm of the business
Customer solutions oriented, with strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
Operations focused with customer support background.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis, and attention to detail
