Job Description : As Marketing Executive Manager – Online Merchandise, you will report to the Marketing Director and will be responsible for managing ALDI’s Online Merchandising digital estate with the objective of maximising sales conversion in both online and offline channels. You will exercise your excellent leadership and project management skills to ensure the success in developing this newly created national function.

Role Responsibilities:
Manage the planning and development of Online Merchandising strategies
Implement the onsite and in-app user flows and content to support conversion
Assemble and manage the content and delivery of improved targeting and personalisation of content throughout the digital estate
Update content including product descriptions and pictures, publishing of recipes and editorial content, administration of microsites and assembling content for applications
Design, create and deliver product display programmes and personalisation initiatives, such as product recommendations
Effectively implement product promotions on the website for online channels
Improve and update content on the website to support SEO
Ensure consistency of the brand experience is in alignment with Stores
Develop engaging on-boarding processes to excite and create advocates for new applications
Partner with the Customer Insight team to identify and act on opportunities for improved customer conversion and engagement in online and app content and layouts
Implement and continuously improve performance measurements across ALDIs owned digital experience, working with teams to overcome those obstacles
Selection Criteria:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Online Merchandise Management
Minimum 2 years’ experience in People Leadership and Development
Proven experience in leading the execution of a retailer’s online experience (across web and mobile)
Proven experience in:
Web content management
Search engine optimisation
User experience design
Mobile app development
Social media marketing
Product search
Data collection, management and analysis
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
Creation and maintenance of testing procedures
Experience in Web Development Adobe Suite applications and Informatica PIM
Strong communication and presentation abilities
