Talent International is searching for an experienced .Net Developer to join our client, a large state government department.

Up to $850 per day including super
6 Month Contract
Brisbane CBD

Project Objectives:

Identify, procure and implement a new elements of cloud data and system integration solution for the client.
Centralise all integration mechanisms for the client’s data and systems into a single platform managed by Corporate Services.
Provide capability for integration of the client’s future state systems during and after the transition to a cloud-based architecture (e.g., Small Business Regulatory Reform program (SBRR)).
Consolidation of the client system databases into one technology
Improve data quality and support future client initiatives.
Break down the compartmentalised architecture of the existing systems, enabling better cross system interoperability.
Reduce the number of systems applications by redeveloping and simplification of applications.

Tech Stack:

Core Azure, .NET tech stacks, including C#, MVC, Microsoft .NET Framework.
API development including REST and SOAP, Microservices.
SQL Server (2016+) and SQL Server – T-SQL
Supporting the Project Manager providing Senior .Net Developer services for the lifecycle of the projects.
Proactively engaging with the Architects, Business Analysts, DBA’s to gain an early understanding of upcoming projects/ changes e.g., Integration Platform, Database Consolidation.
Visual Studio, DevOps and Automated testing.

Desirable Experience:

5+ years’ experience as a Senior .Net Developer.
Experience in API and integration development.
Azure experience with integration components and API Manager.
Industry experience with Microsoft Certification.
Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies.
Visual Studio, DevOps, CI/CD and Automated testing.
Integration experience with Azure tools, Azure Function, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid and app services.
Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and Data lake technologies
Undertake enhancement and maintenance activities for existing .Net applications.
Work across several software solutions.
Full stack development using JavaScript, JSON, REST and C#.NET tech stacks.
Mentoring fellow developers to ensure quality standards.
Prior experience working with Queensland State Government agencies.
Prior experience and knowledge of the training sector environment.

Working across our products, microservices and internal tools to implement new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Continuously improve our DevOps capabilities through automation and exploration
Code reviewing your peers.
Coordinating with product lead and developers to propose requirements and solutions.
Investigate and implement new technologies.
Experience and knowledge of end-to-end transaction processing.
Experience and knowledge of the Digital Transformation domain.
Experience and knowledge of the Cloud Services and hosting domain.
High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills.
Experience in change management (systems releases).
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on simplification.
Experience working with senior level stakeholders.
