Job Description : NetWitness – Senior Software Engineer

Our Sales Professionals, Sales Engineers and Professional Services Consultants design and deliver solutions for potential and existing customers to enable better visibility, insight and action to prevent and defend against attacks. NetWitness provides the unique ability to provide one single platform with a unified view across all attack surfaces including Network, Logs/SIEM, Endpoint and IoT combined with our AI-based User and Entity Behavioral Analysis (UEBA) and Security, Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely in a highly AGILE environment (wear multiple hats) with a team of software engineers on RSA NetWitness Software suite.
Understand the full feature set/ implementation and architecture of the NetWitness Solution.
Review product evolution and map new features to ongoing releases.
Analyze business goals and product requirements and contribute to application architecture design, feature qualification up to GA / release.
Responsible for end-to-end quality of deliverables / features , hosted on AWS using serverless architecture and other cloud deployment models.
Create / Review design and functional details for features, test cases and workflows.
Accountable for qualify and certify quality of product / features that are highly scalable, secure, high-available, high performing and cost-effective.
Collaborate with DevOps to build a highly matured CI/CD and Deployment pipeline complying to unit tests, integration tests, security and performance tests.
Plan and perform non-functional tests – performance, security, scalability, Accessibility, visual regression etc.
Build automation test suit using available standard frameworks to automate system, integration and post deployment tests.
Focus on Customer centric solutions, implement and deliver in short intervals.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to plan and release software at regular cadence
Work independently and effectively within and across teams.

Essential Requirements:

5-8 years of experience focused on quality and Test Life cycle for web applications deployed in cloud environments preferably AWS.
Well versed with test automation frameworks, and automation using Python or any script.
Comfortable with programming language such as Java, JS, Spring, MVC and front-end technologies like Java, JS, NodeJs, React etc.
Expert in planning and coverage of product test suite spanning functional, regression, integration, P&S, upgrade and Security workflows.
Good understanding of commonly used AWS services and tools – EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Cognito, DynamoDB , ElasticSearch, API Gateway, AWS SDK, CloudFormation, WAF, CloudFront etc.
Strong experience with UI/UX models with ability to handle full stack solution qualification.
Experienced in planning and executing Non-functional tests – Performance, Security and Load & sustainability tests.
Knowledgeful in Accessibility and A/B testing.
Experience in UI automation and qualification process for report based Rich Internet Applications using tools like Selenium, SilkTest, QTP etc.
Ability to don the Quality Owner role, lead a team of QE + Automation engineers and handle end-to end Test deliverables.
Strong Debugging, problem solving and RCA skills.
Good understanding of Application monitoring tools like DataDog / Splunk equivalent.
Ability to learn new tools, languages and security domain on-the-job.
Lean Agile development experience and good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
Experience in testing Cloud SaaS products is a big PLUS

Education & Experience:
Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering (CS, ECE, IT)
5-8 Years with preferably in enterprise product companies
