About the organisation
QS Enrolment Solutions (formerly Hobsons Solutions) offer a range of student recruitment services to clients within the education sector. The business is strategically located in Melbourne CBD and is currently seeking a proactive People Manager to join their Operations team.
About the Role
The People Manager will oversee the Client Delivery team to ensure the end-to-end delivery of the contracted services for which QSES must deliver for our clients. These services should be delivered on-time, with quality and with the view of continuous improvement. The ultimate aim is to increase enrolment numbers and also to retain our current clients.
Success will depend on close attention being paid to the achievement of Client Delivery staff objectives and also the detail contained with the contract schedules and the client strategies for each client contract. The role should be focused on the developing each Individual Client Delivery staff member’s skill sets by Identifying and enhancing their strengths and developing their areas of Improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:
Team Management
Coach, guide and lead direct reports to achieving their Objectives
Create and implement performance management plans when necessary
Support training and development initiatives
Identify talent and create professional development opportunities
Client Management
Participate in client meetings when additional support is needed and conduct general presentations during client meetings
Create and maintain positive and productive relationships with all APAC clients
Develop a deep understanding of the APAC client experience by obtaining and listening to client feedback
Conduct presentations at key events and meetings such as the QSES client Summit
Contribute to Roadshow content when necessary
Operational Management
Identify operational issues, problems and opportunities to determine suitable business solutions in order to rectify
Lead the team to solve daily problems regarding the delivery of services Implementation of client contract deliverables within standard operations of the team
Implementation of new products and services within the team • Identify internal opportunities to improve efficiency of operations
Assist with reconciliation processes which impact the entire client pool, such as conducting Secondary QA
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following;
Understanding of Australian and / or New Zealand Higher Education sector
Ability to motivate teams for high performance
A high level of Initiative
This position will require Interstate, Intrastate and possible overseas travel
You must have a valid Australian working visa to apply for this position
Undergraduate degree in a business or related discipline
Leadership experience or ability to develop leadership capabilities
