In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Analyze business and capability roadmaps and identify architecture components in the Philips Integrated Landscape (PIL) and plan on design improvements.
Accountable for executing technology validation and architecture evaluation (e.g.: Market Scans, Framing, and Value Prototyping) within respective domain and adhering to EA guidelines for selection of appropriate solution/technology.
Responsible for architecture design consistentency with the help of enterprise architecture (EA) principles, executed in line with the standards, rules, and guidelines.
Responsible for identifying and driving scrum teams to deliver non-functional requirements.
Provide advice to stakeholders and ensure solution design is aligned and supported by respective stakeholders (BPO/BPE/SME/Product Owner).
Establish a clear-relationships between process, the application landscape and the key data attributes to ensure solutions are delivering outcome as designed in collaboration with Platform/Domain including DevOps teams, Solution Architects and Platform Architects.
Recognize conflicts and impacts in the detailed solution design and take countermeasures to resolve those.
Analyze enterprise business context (business strategy), as well as change requirements to guide solution decisions/Architecture for the Platform/Domain
Responsible for managing architecture risk in the Platform/Domain.
Represents solution design in Architecture review Board and have an ability to facilitate outside in approach in Architecture community of practice.
Supports cross-platform End2End design as part of the Architecture community,
Supports technology selection and proof of concepts.
Create and drive the transition architecture from legacy systems into the defined architecture while simplifying the IT landscape including Post Merger Integration
Experience in architecting design for domains like (Idea to Market, Market to Order and Order to Cash)
Experience in service and solution for the above listed areas.
Technical Background:
Awareness of Integration knowledge for SaaS solutions/3rd Party application with Organization Landscape.
Awareness of Traditional ERP, SaaS PaaS applications and Platform like Service Max, SFDC Sales Cloud ,Service Cloud, Field Service, App Exchange products, WorkForce and project management planning tools etc.
Clear concept of Canonical data model, API based integration and microservice designs.
Awareness of various integration pattern vs ETL vs RPA solution vs Low Code No Code tools.
Knowledge of TOGAF and ISAM framework.
Knowledge if ITIL framework and onboard such processes for Service Operations area back end engineers through SaaS, PaaS solution. Need experience in building solutions for operational process automation and process orchestration of service engineers for product and service area.
Experienced in Architecture work in an Agile/DevsecOps culture.
Awareness of various data security and IT security framework.
Participate in IT Security Audit and able to articulate the IT security areas to various stakeholder at different level.
Awareness of Data integration and modeling techniques and awareness of various integration and data modelling and reporting patterns.
Working knowledge in drawing Architecture model in iServer.
Good to have knowledge in Archimate notations.
You will be part of the Architecture & Emerging Technologies group. The team focus is on full stack architecture including Solution Architecture. I2M, Enabling Functions, Solutions, Software and Service are now combined into a single architecture team, with major solutions being SalesForce, Service Max, ServiceNow Platform, Service area around SAP O2C,Low code platform like Appian etc. Our responsibility is to simplify the Philips IT landscape and reduce total IT spend. The team has close contact with business stakeholders on executive level and alignment with business is key to success!
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Good to have background of IT service area of healthcare/HiTech/Automotive/Manufacturing Equipment software product/service industry
Degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Need a Minimum of 12+ years of experience
T-shape profile with combining IT/Business Process knowledge with dept in technology
Must be interested to build network cross team and eager to learn new technology and process and share knowledge amongst the team and be a great team player.
Must take ownership to deliver solution single handed and ready to take new challenges.
Demonstrate Sr. Stakeholder management and ability to present architecture to Executive Management.
Abstract thinker with a helicopter view, who can find an appropriate solution to complex problems.
Strong communicator and a good listener.
Analytical, communication, and influential skills.
Awareness of emerging technologies and ready to onboard outside in approach.
Should be enthusiastic in onboarding new concepts in Philips and have a mindset of thinking long term solution.
Must have good logical and reasoning skillset to evaluate technical solution. Must be result driven and ability to stay focused in a complex and demanding environment
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
