What’s this role about?

As a AD/AMS Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overall business quality solution in an onshore-offshore test and business model. Management of AD/AMS staff and managers to improve processes and practices. Develop and instil a continuous improvement culture via a focus on process improvements & innovation.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

AD/AMS practice manager at Zensar takes end-to-end ownership of projects and provide valuable expertise in the software development life cycle, from concept, architecture, design, implementation, and Application Maintenance and Support.
You’ll do this by:
Zensar is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic AD/AMS Practice Manager who is passionate about the quality of Digital Services they build. We are a Microsoft, Oracle, and AWS Partner and we are working with an increasing number of significant clients across US , UK and SA . You will work with our current and prospective client base to set our AD/AMS direction – delivering projects, defining our portfolio of service offerings and building out our AD/AMS capabilities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Setting up/ running/ working in, a AD/AMS COE
Define, build and own the solution
Define a portfolio of AD/AMS offerings and provide oversight of AD/AMS projects involving development and application maintenance support of Manufacturing/ Cloud & Security/Digital Solutions
Define and own a principles-driven AD/AMS approach that provides direction, purpose, and clarity for the AD/AMS practice to enable client success and confidence
Define and own an automation approach that works with current and upcoming customer tooling needs
Establish a market leading AD/AMS practice by defining career and learning pathways for your team, to enable them to implement best practices and exceptional quality processes.
Engage with key stakeholders to understand their AD/AMS needs, create AD/AMS Delivery strategies, create a plan, execute the delivery plan
Engage with our clients to lead testing within complex programmes, projects, and teams, including planning, monitoring and guiding AD/AMS efforts
Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to communicate and manage risks and issues while maintaining accountability
Provide leadership in stakeholder interactions in testing areas
Team Management, Managing Customer /Prospect Engagement
CIO level presentations and defending proposals, propositions
Supporting delivery and fixing problems
Talent Acquisition and designing training strategy for the COE
Leading and mentoring small and mid-sized teams
Collaborate with deployed staff and our customers across multiple projects to provide consultative advice, guidance, governance, and assurance

– Candidate profile:-
Minimum 15+ years of overall experience
Strong Knowledge & experience in ITIL/ITSM, DevSecOps, Agile processes/tools, process consulting
Good Knowledge of medium/large scale AD/AMS projects execution with technologies/platforms like – JAVA Stack, MicroServices, UI Technologies, APIs/Integration, Cloud Platforms, RPA
Exposure to building Solutions like AMS 4.0 Autonomous Ops, Next-gen Support model, AIOps, Touchless Modernization Approach, EAS Apps Shared Services, self-funded digital pilots programs, Oracle EBS support with Business Process RE-engineering, App Modernization
Should have experience on Delivery management (around 10 yrs) and Presales (2-3 yrs). A good delivery person with string technical skills can also be considered, even if there is no formal experience on presales.
Excellent communication – articulation skills
Good financial skills
Customer facing experience and ability – US/UK/SA
Should not have any travel restrictions
