Job Description : Job Summary
The SupplyChain Risk Analyst will be part of a growing, agile and diverse team managing the supply chain risk management process through an innovative, industry best in class risk detection solution. The person in this position will be responsible to support the corporate-driven supplier risk management process in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
You will be a key part of this initiative and will extensively support the ongoing development & implementation of Eaton’s Supplier Risk management framework across Eaton’s global supply base, fostering cross-functional relationships and delivering risk event management programs to achieve excellence in supplier risk management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The individual will mainly support the implementation of deployment and development of supplier risk management framework. The primary responsibilities of the job include
>Supplier Risk profiling: Monitoring & assessing suppliers against various type of risks to identify the High risk suppliers & execute mitigation strategies to effectively manage the risk.
> Risk detection: Monitor various risk events occurring globally that could impact Eaton supply base
> Risk Assessment: Collaborate with Suppliers & internal teams to assess impact of risk events on Eaton operations.
> Risk mitigation:
a. Effective coordination with sourcing & category management teams to develop robust mitigation strategies (Contingency & recovery plans) for various risk events (Crisis situation)
b. Ensuring timely execution of mitigation strategies
c. Preparing risk event summary and communication to leadership team on regular basis
> Risk event simulation: Running simulations based on historical event history to proactively predict the potential impact & coordinate with relevant parties for preparedness
> Managing Risk detection tool:
a. Primary Point of contact, system admin & SME
b. Conducting trainings for suppliers and internal teams
c. Enhancing user adoption,
d. Ensuring timely data update with highest degree of accuracy
e. Functionality enhancement of the tool

> Developing training material, SOPs
> Developing & executing communication plans
> Managing 3rd Party applications – SME
Qualifications
Required Educational qualifications:
> Masters Degree in business administration or bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably MBA Operations Research
Required Work experience:
> 6-8 years of working experience in global supply chain environment, preferably within manufacturing industries with hands on experience of managing supply chain Risk & Supplier performance
Technical Skills:
> Understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management & or Supplier Risk management
> SCM domain knowledge
> Hands-on experience in managing various risk events
> Excellent project management skills – Project management techniques (PMP)
> Strong working knowledge of ERPs & data visualization tools
> Ability to handle complex data to draw meaningful interpretations, predictive analysis for enhanced risk governance.
> Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced Excel functionalities), Power BI, the statistical background will be an added advantage
> Understanding of Supplier performance management
> Understanding of newest market technologies like AI, ML, NLP, python, power apps, the experience of software implementation would be an added advantage.
