Process Overview*
The Global Finanace was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management.
Over the years, the scope of GlobalFinance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
Consumer Cards CFO reporting process involves management reporting, research and analysis across various stages of card lifecycle (marketing – acquisition & engagement, retention, credit & risk etc.). Team works on various reporting needs that helps the CFO group analyze and address key challenges to the profitability and adjust their forecasts accordingly. The analytics team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools utilizing SAS, SQL, SQL Server database, SharePoint development, Tableau, Alteryx and VBA for credit card P&L.
Job Description*
Individual will be a contributing member of the Global Finance Consumer and GWIM Finance. He/ she will support the US Cards Finance and BFO team. The person is expected to deliver on complex and time critical data mining and analytical request for new credit card / existing credit card portfolio (both consumer and Small Business). It is also expected that the person comprehend & evaluate the strategic business drivers and can bring in efficiencies through automation of existing reporting packages or codes.
Responsibilities
Understand clients’ requirements and translate those into deliverables.
2. Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels.
3. Support the business on periodic and adhoc projects related to credit card and deposits products.
4. Drilldown, organize, summarize large amounts of data from/to multiple databases
5. Be a key contributor to business initiatives that require subject matter expertise.
6. Make & deliver presentations on the detailed analysis and key observations to senior leaders.
7. Support/mentor resources working on complex analysis.
8. Ensure quick resolution of any issues.
Requirements
Education – Masters/Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science with 6+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the of the credit card business
Certifications If Any
SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL

Foundational skills*
Strong in MS Excel
2. Strong working knowledge of SAS and SQL
3. Experience of working/maintaining Large datasets
4. Good exposure to Credit Card business and how bank makes money. Prior BFSI experience (Retail banking and credit card) exposure is mandatory
5. Strong business problem solving skills, and ability to deliver on analytics projects independently, from initial structuring to final presentation
6. Finance domain knowledge esp. Credit card P&L
7. Good data summarization and analysis skills
8. Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting tasks by interfacing with different data sources (e.g. Oracle, DB2, Teradata)
9. Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills

11:30 – 20:30/ Will require to stretch 3-5 days in a month or to meet critical project deadline.
