Who You Are:

You are a hands-on, experienced Associate Technical Product Manager who will own part of the product strategy and roadmap and drive best practices for our product offerings at Ocrolus. As an Associate Technical Product Manager, you will be a market expert and drive that understanding across engineering, data science, product management, and Ocrolus’s client-facing functions.

Product Managers are at the heart of our organization. In this role, they must demonstrate a variety of competencies as the function requires coordination across many departments. We are looking for product-first software experience, preferably B2B SaaS experience. Sometimes consulting experience can be helpful.

You will:

Own the product roadmap(s) for one or more products that will be used by our customers or internal stakeholders to drive customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle.
Obtain and maintain a solid understanding of all Ocrolus solutions and develop use cases and product roadmap.
Interface with stakeholders and end-users to assess ongoing business needs and translate those needs into functional requirements with wireframes.
Work with the UX team to ensure product usability.
Define the problems to be solved for end-users and define OKRs by aligning with the respective stakeholders.
Write PRD and create the Product Roadmap, Go To Market Plan and Plan to drive adoption.
Maintain a well-prioritized backlog that advances the product strategy.
Elaborate Epics, Themes, and Features into detailed user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
Coordinate with other product owners in India and North America on overall product roadmap and prioritization.
Review and give feedback & approve product deliveries according to acceptance criteria within the area of responsibility.
Own release notes and feature availability for end-users.
Identify, track and resolve project issues and risks.
CommunicateCommunicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize the hotfix to support critical projects the progress and challenges with key stakeholders.
Ensure that engineering teams are consistently working on the highest value problems.
Break up large initiatives into actionable workstreams.
Instill data-driven decision-making into engineering & business teams using qualified metrics.
Develop comprehensive project plans that align the team’s goals with the company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases.
Drive agile project management ceremonies.
Develop KPIs, monitor progress continuously, and report on milestones and deliverables.
Proactively maintain client relationships and internal connections across roles and departments.

You should have:

Strong technical background (either educational or practical work experience).
Strong academic record and evidence of success in structured work environments.
Ability to articulate complex problems to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
2+ years work experience in a technical product management or development function.
Strong attention to detail and creativity to drive better UX for end-users.
Possess a strong understanding of APIs.
Analytical mindset, creativity, and commercial focus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
B2B SaaS experience.

Bonus Points:

Any relevant Product Management Certifications like CSPO, Pragmatic marketing, pragmatic leaders, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field.
2+ years of recent TPM API-based work.
Experience with agile practice.
B2B FinTech experience.
Worked for a hypergrowth-startup company.
Experience with failure (e.g. product launch) and ability to course correct.
