Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of Hindi language original content produced by Disney+ Hostar (web series, feature films, documentaries, promotional material, marketing material) from a content compliance perspective.
Contributor to Hindi television GEC FPC processing.
Pre-empt identification of compliance code, internal policy, government and regulatory policy and potentially legal violations. Protect the brand’s interest by flagging potential risk of defamation, copyright/ trademark among others in advance.
Day to day co-coordination with content, marketing and ops teams for approval of content & promos.
Study and develop a thorough knowledge of Indian content codes for the broadcasting perspective with a focus on digital content compliance.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Error free content vetting
Compliance and regulatory subject matter knowledge
Ability to work with various departments and collaborative feedback from stakeholders
Participation & contribution to departmental innovation projects.
QUALIFICATION
2-4 years of S&P backgrounds preferred. Can explore profiles from content writing/ research/editing/marketing/development backgrounds.
Education: Bachelors or master’s degree in Media/ History/ Sociology/ Literature or any other field
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Advanced command on Hindi language (written/ spoken)
Excellent general knowledge and knowhow of political, religious and social topics
Knowledge of local customs and sensitivity towards social/ human issues.
Good presentation and communication skills.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Genuine penchant for Hindi language content on TV and OTT platforms. Big content consumer. Should know what’s happening in the OTT space from a content perspective.
Should be well-aware of current news and affairs.
Should have an eye for detail, be organized & self-motivated.
Should be high on personal accountability and take charge of tasks at hand.
Should have solution orientation and good interpersonal skills
Should be able to work through demanding publishing timelines.
