Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities: # Responsible for shop floor operations – Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance & Admin department.# Responsible for achieving monthly Production Targets for Turbocharger & component Assembly Lines.# Responsible for resource Planning including machinery & Headcount.# Responsible for employee facility – Transport, Cafeteria, Security, Housekeeping & Building Maintenance etc.# Responsible for all site compliance & Government relations.# Manage departmental budget to ensure that all costs are correctly planned, regularly reviewed, justified, and controlled# Drive productivity projects & ensure OPE, UPH, OEE Targets are as per AOP.# Ensure uptime for machine, Rapid problem solving & RCA culture in shop & ensure MTBF, Availability, PM% & MTTR are as per AOP.# Ensure employee safety. HSE & Quality systems are in place.# Drive Strategic action & Business Imperatives to achieve AOP & SDP Goals for organization over STRAP.# As a manager provides support to his team members by coaching activities. Identify GAPS & build strong succession pipeline.# Ensures 5’S, TPM, Kanban, OPF, SMED activities.# Drive continuous improvement culture in Shop. Ensure Transformational Kaizen Events are planned to handle recurring issue & drive drastic improvement.# Responsible for Availability, MTBF & MTTR for Plant | Driving Actions for improvements# Responsible for maintaining Machine Performance | Maintain baseline & Monitor RTY Levels | Drive actions for improvements.# Responsible for recurring ME & Maint. Issue | Drive ICA & PCA# Responsible for Plant Capacity Utilization & New Machine Installation.# Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis# Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required# Responsible for TPM Level 2 Implementation in Plant# Responsible for PM of machines.Skills and Knowledge Required: # Knowledge about Auto component Manufacturing Process – Turbocharger is Preferred.# Core Green Belt Certified, Lean Expert Certification Preferred# Excellent leadership & Interpersonal skill.# Good communication skill. Good command on English & local language including Marathi & Hindi.Experience and Education Required: # University degree (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent), 10 + years of experience# Experience in handling medium size Manufacturing Unit.# Experience of managing a budget with a good understanding of key financial principlesThis is an exciting time to join Garrett Motion!
