We have an interesting new position for an experienced mobile developer to work on a mix of projects and BAU across a suite of leading product offerings.

As a mobile developer, you will be focused on developing both greenfields development of new mobile apps for our existing products, as well as the maintenance of existing mobile apps already developed by the business.

Candidates with proven mobile App experience using any leading mobile technologies will be consider.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working with BA’s, to architect and develop new application functionality,
Integrating framework upgrades and new technologies to ensure the codebase remains supportable, the product is maintainable and customer requirements can be met,
Ensuring quality through diligence in design and implementation and through participation in code review and test and validation activities,
Contributing to overall application stability through the creation of automated test suites for developed features,
Creating appropriate documentation for new functionality developed,
Participating in discussions on application architecture as well as overall product roadmap
Helping maintain customer satisfaction by providing timely advice, as well as hot fixes, for bugs or issues identified by customers
Essential skills include:
Demonstrated experience with iOS, Android, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin or similar,
Experience working in Agile and Lean teams
Experience with Atlassian suite for software development (including BitBucket, JIRA and Confluence)
Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and the ability to accurately analyse information and make sound decisions
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results
Experience within highly regulated industries such as finance, telecommunications or health would be advantageous
The assignment is initially 6 months but is likely to go longer term for the right candidate.
