Job Description : This newly created position will suit someone from the super app/e-wallet background. You will be working with a team of highly capable people who are seasoned professionals in the fintech industry.
Responsibilities
The Senior Business Development Manager will have two responsibilities:
(1) Channel Management & Acquisition: Be responsible for both the development of existing accounts and partnerships as well as the development and delivery of new business clients and partnerships, where our product and service portfolios can be offered. (2) Brand Management & Acquisition: Manage and acquire local relationships with representatives of key international brands as well as in-region local content providers. Targeted on the creation and delivery of commercially sustainable partnerships, the SBDM will; account manage epay relationships (retailers, ecommerce, etailers, distribution partners, global & local brands), identify strategic opportunities and execute against it, assess macro-market developments, build acquisition strategies, develop and deliver a business pipeline with supporting business cases.
The SBDM will meet and exceed all company and individual goals in line with the Company’s policies, procedures, and values.
Work closely with Business Development Director to understand and implement commercial go to market strategies
Regularly collaborate with the Managing Director, Global Products and Content to learn best practices, how to sell epay solutions and the key strategies from the perspective of international brands
Identify new Partners and clients for strategic growth – create, build, and develop commercially structured partnerships
Develop detailed business cases for each new opportunity, ensuring that they are consistent with global and regional strategies
Manage on-going relationships to ensure maximum performance and profitability
Provide regular/periodic reporting. forecast on revenue and contribution by product line
Qualifications
Candidates with experience in super app/e-wallet are highly preferred
Proven experience (7-10 years) in consultative selling in medium to long sales cycles
Experience required in relationship management.
At least 2-4 years of experience in technology-related product management, product marketing, sales/account management and/or consulting
Multinational experience and ability to work/travel independently
Self-motivated, results oriented, effective influencing skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels in an organization including C-level.
