Job Description : The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10-1 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred

Markets Technology is a front to back group that works closely with our Markets businesses to design and implement technology solutions that achieve our challenging business and technical goals. The focus is changing within Markets technology at Citi. There is a commitment and drive to invest in building a common cross asset platform for electronic trading over the coming years. This role is within the FX Technology group, with a primary focus of delivering to the STIRT business, but in addition there is an expectation that the successful candidate will also be involved in broad Markets initiatives, in support of the move to common cross asset platform.
The selected candidate will be part of a team which is responsible for functional areas within the STIRT Data Toolkit development group within the ICG technology. The key goal is to build out an increased electronic franchise across all products covered by the FX desks globally.
Job Purpose:
We are looking to hire a full-stack web developer and technologist. This role will be in Pune and work closely with our London Innovation Lab. The role requires someone with a can-do attitude and the ability to quickly navigate a Tier 1 bank and the ambiguity that comes with it. The work can be high-pressure at times but has high reward and we aren’t necessarily looking for someone with banking experience. Tech expertise is our main driver here. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to work on exciting new initiatives and take significant responsibility for bringing new and existing applications to production with global impact.
The Trader Toolkit is a decision support system built in-house for our trading and sales desks, delivering streaming data and visualizations in real-time. It has three tiers – the HTML5 visualisation framework, the Node.js time series engine, and the Couchbase storage/cache tier. It is architected to be horizontally scalable and highly available, with zero-downtime, single-click deployments. We practise continuous delivery, with multiple production releases a week.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain the Trader Toolkit suite ensuring timely delivery of work items in the sprint.
As part of the core team, ensure sub-teams adhere to our code quality and testing standards.
Contribute to research and suggestions for new projects for the Trader Toolkit suite.
Proactively identify and implement opportunities that enable the development groups to provide the best solutions to their businesses.
Evaluate and perform POCs on new strategic technical products and applications.
Qualifications:
You have deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and React, NodeJS
You are passionate about streaming data and building APIs and visualisations around it.
You are familiar with cloud computing concepts and DevOps tools (Docker, OpenShift).
You have very high development standards, especially for code quality, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and deployment.
You have good analytical skills, ability to contribute to design discussions and problem-solving sessions.
You deliver great user experiences, demonstrably, working closely with clients to do it.
You have an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies.
You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital.
You have the ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
