The Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities include the following:
Working very closely with Cloud teams to deploy and maintain security solutions.
Support the SCB cloud strategy to ensure security and compliance is baked in from day one.
Be the main point of contact for product technical issues
Maintain and Monitor cloud security tools.
Support the DevSecOps continuous monitoring activities to ensure operation and controls are enforced in the tool with the latest baselines.
Maintain and monitor controls (baselines) aligned with bank standards.
Collaborate with engineers and platform teams to define and build controls via policy as code.
Manage day to day activities, such as report creation, content updates for tools etc, to operate the service capability.
Run and Operate cloud security tools
Identification of security issues and risks.
Perform BAU tasks on the system to ensure that the service is being delivered
Demonstrates the required ethos for continuous security service improvement.
Be a team player & lead creative initiatives to enhance the capability of the overall Cloud Infrastructure service
To ensure that existing and new systems conform to SC security policies standards including any relevant regulatory requirements
To maintain an expert knowledge within the team of technology and industry trends in relation to business requirements, and the direction of the Group

Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association

Technical Compentancies
Cloud security and a good understanding of DevSecOps principles
Experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines and transforming manual process into automated process
Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Shell, Go or others).
Experience supporting and maintaining security tools
Proficient on AWS and Azure
Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Helm)
Knowledge of configuration management and CI/CD tools such as (Ansible, RunDeck, Jenkins, Puppet, Git)
Experience working with containers technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, EKS
Experience on versioning control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab)
Knowledge of provisioning, deployment, monitoring and scaling of large platforms in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with well-known industry security standards and frameworks such as CIS, NIST, GDPR, OWASP, ISO 27001
Experience supporting security in a DevOps environment.
Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies
Fundamental skills of Task prioritization, Time management, Customer focus
Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations
Able to identify and explain challenges to both technical and not technical people
Excellent oral/written communication skills for articulating thoughts clearly with stakeholders ranging from engineers to senior business management.
Team player but technically autonomous and work independently
Familiar with compliance as code technologies and automation
Ability to learn quickly
