Job Description : Purpose of the Role
As a Software Engineer Graduate on the Peak Software Engineering Graduate Scheme, you will join in and build experience in the various Engineering departments within Peak, developing a solid base in Platform Engineering (Frontend development, Backend development & Testing) and DevOps (Platform, SecOps, SRE & DevTools), whilst also having the opportunity to get involved in Agile, Security and Support.

The Role
You’ll work within the Engineering team, spending dedicated time focussing on Platform Engineering (frontend and backend development) and DevOps (Platform, SecOps, SRE & DevTools). Interfacing with a diverse group of teammates, and working on a world-leading Decision Intelligence platform – this opportunity will develop a solid foundation for starting a Software Engineering career. Furthermore, there will be opportunities for high-performing graduates to remain at the company after the scheme ends.
Starting in Autumn, the graduate scheme will involve two 6 month placements across two key teams within Engineering at Peak. You will spend:

One 6 month block working with Platform Software Engineers across different areas of the Peak Platform. This will include time spent across Frontend Development, Backend Development and Testing.
One 6 month block working with Software Engineers in the DevOps team across different pillars such as Platform, SecOps, SRE & DevTools.

Alongside on-the-job experience you will have the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of Engineering such as Agile, Security & Support, taking part in structured training sessions and working together on a group project.
We’re looking for high achieving graduates of degrees such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. You must be enthusiastic about Software Engineering, curious about new technologies and able to communicate clearly with other stakeholders.
