JOB DESCRIPTION
Domain – Customer Documentation
Customer Documentation is a discipline that has been playing an increasingly significant role in many technical branches.
For the telecommunications industry, professional technical documentation is a crucial, integral element of every product that allows our customers to build, manage, and troubleshoot their network.
Job Profile:
We are looking for technical writers in the area of English language, communications, computer science, information technology, telecommunication (or an equivalent qualification) who would like to learn more, practice and gain real work experience on planning, designing, and executing items in own area.
As an engineer you will work together with Customer Documentation Specialists, technical writers, and Subject matter experts, to create product documents for our global customers to be able to effectively operate their mobile networks.
As a technical writer with a good command of the English language and excellent writing skills, your technical interest as well as your information gathering skills will prove invaluable, as you work together with technical experts on complex products.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Graduate degree in the area of English language, communications, computer science, information technology, telecommunication
Excellent in spoken and written English
Basic telecom radio technologies and interest in future technologies (5G, Cloud, so on)
Good understanding of Nokia processes and agile methodology and DevOps
Strong information gathering skills
Problem-solving mind
Creative thinking and initiative-orientation
Active and energetic attitude to cope with tight deadlines? working independently, as well as in local and global (virtual) teams
Ability to understand end-user needs
Willing to develop competence within the Technical Writing and Graphics Design area

Additional Requirements:
Experience in the following areas is a huge bonus:
DITA/topic-based writing experience, single sourcing framework, and structured authoring using XML
Experience in one or more phases of technical documentation
Experience in documenting command-line interfaces
Experience using Linux
HTML5 animations (Adobe Edge Animate)
Interactive presentations (Adobe Captivate)
Website coding skills – HTML5 / CSS3 and JQuery, making use of the latest techniques
Master skills in Photoshop/Corel Designer and/or Adobe Illustrator
