Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, Develop and Manage high performing Java/J2EE applications
Propose Innovative Solutions for the existing problems of the Product
Constantly look at Performance & Security aspects and propose architectural solution for security vulnerabilities
Propose and implement best in class solution for big and complex systems
Define and create design documents and discuss different pros and cons of any particular approach with Architecture council
Develop detailed design specifications , data mapping and data transformation rules as per Product need
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
Participation in Design reviews , Test Case reviews , and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases , provide inputs for Go / No Go decision
Develops innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation
Support QA , UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance
Provide technology leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required
Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor. Participation in monthly PMR
Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with stakeholders
Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
Impact of work is most often at the local level

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in with 8-12 years of real time experience in Computer Science and Technology
Experience in deploying and building solutions in Microsoft Azure
Advanced knowledge of Java JEE development concepts using the following tools/frameworks:
Java , Microsoft Azure , ReactJS (Good To Have) , REST, SOAP, Kafka, JavaScript, Gradle, Spring Security, Spring Boot, Docker containers, Jenkins CI/CD, OpenShift, Splunk
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
Extensive knowledge and experience with team programming (e.g. check-in, check-out, version control)
Support all aspects of Java development both Front End and Back End (designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining products)
Frequent interaction with business owners/stakeholders to gather requirements for new development projects, assist in defect resolution during testing, etc.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a production support environment; possess analytical skills to effectively resolve technical problems, identify and implement process improvements, and Skilled in both oral and written communications in order to contribute to meetings and capture requirements as well as write documentation, specifications, procedures and process flows
Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, and possesses an aptitude to learn quickly.
Proven team player, contributes to team goals, encourages and supports team members
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, and be available for call-in and after hours support if needed

Prior healthcare domain knowledge
