Job Description : Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. A dynamic opportunity exists for a highly creative and experienced content developer to join the Student Engagement and Retention Journey Squad, to provide copywriting capability to our cross-functional team and help us to build out omnichannel student journeys across the current student cohorts.

We’ll need copy that gets our students excited about the opportunities available as a Swinburne student, and to engage our students we have a number of channels to talk to them in, including eDM, web content such as page copy, promos and personalised experiences, digital signage and articles, our mobile app, and much more.

Organisation Unit/Department Information
The role sits within our Marketing unit who are responsible for coordinating the communications, brand management and market research activities of Swinburne which supports national and direct international student recruitment. Specifically, Marketing, is responsible for: developing and managing the Swinburne brand, domestic and international student recruitment, developing and implementing sales channel and pipeline management strategies; advertising; and conducting market research and data analysis.

About you
To be suitable for the role you will have:
Demonstrated experience working in a copywriting, communications or content development role for a large and complex organisation.Demonstrated experience writing, editing, creating, and producing on-brand and differentiating content for a range of audiences and channels.Demonstrated experience implementing content and marketing activities across numerous formats to achieve successful outcomes.
