Job Purpose

KPI reporting analyst reports to the KPI Reporting Manager and is part of a global and multicultural team of analysts operating from various locations. His/her role is to support the central Global Business Services (GBS) organization with business partnering and KPI design.

More specifically, the Analyst will mainly take an active role in supporting and engaging with the teams within AkzoNobel. He/She will extensively help the team in stakeholder engagement, project management and relevant KPI design and development primarily within the customer operations towers.
His/her work will bring clarity and standardize the analytical models/templates and dashboards. He/she will also be responsible for setting the correct expectations and project timelines for the business insights data analysts and visualization engineers. The KPIs designed will be pivotal in providing businesses with the necessary insights related to the process and would lead to imperative actions within the business.
Key Accountabilities

Act as a project manager and business partner:
Manage, capture and understand business requirements from stakeholders, design and develop meaningful and relevant KPIs/insights for business
Ensure that all the requirements are well-documented, and a project plan is in place.
Liaise between business and Business Insights to ensure efficient project delivery within set timelines
Identify project bottlenecks in terms of system dependency or data availability. Collaborate with IM and other concerned parties to resolve such issues

Experience
Bachelor or Master’s Degree preferably in Supply chain, Finance, Business Analytics or related area
2 to 5 years of work experience in supply chain analytics/finance/reporting in a global or multinational environment.
Good to have experience with R/Python, large databases and algorithm development.
Experience with Power BI reporting and visualization tool a plus
Ability to work with cross-functional, regional, multicultural and virtual teams
Ability to communicate with and present effectively and remotely to various stakeholders with variable levels of analytical knowledge
Ability to influence and convince direct stakeholders through analysis
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle pressure
Ability to manage projects efficiently
Impeccable work ethics
Potential to operate in the complex global structure
