We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering lead to join our COG Technology team aligned to the Macquarie Capital business. Macquarie Capital is one of Macquarie Group’s four operating groups, responsible for the Group’s corporate advisory, M&A, debt, equity and private capital markets, principal investing and financing, and equity brokerage activity.

The role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in engineering practices and technology, sharing responsibility towards improving quality and modernising our technology stack, and supporting production services to maintain and continue to build trusted solutions for the business.

Key Responsibilities
help the technical evaluation of requirements from users, product owners, and stakeholders.
identifying and solving business problems by utilising the full range of services available on the Microsoft platform.
work as part of a team managing and supporting our existing and new platforms with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, release pipelines, and DevOps practices.
plan and implement improvements to our CI/CD practices, tools and ways of working together.
ensuring we have the best monitoring and DevOps practices in place to support resiliency and high availability
implement and maintain security upgrades and features
show a cadence of delivery through regular client & product owner interactions in the delivery lifecycle.

Your Skills and Experience

A diverse set of skills and experience in the following areas:

minimum 3 years of development experience including but not limited to:
Azure Logic Apps
Azure Service Bus
Azure Web/API Apps
Azure Function Apps
have extensive experience and skills in enterprise software development using .NET stack, including: REST APIs, Web Applications and distributed systems
MS SharePoint development experience
Online experience
2013 experience
Power Automate experience essential
experience in C#, NodeJS, Java Script, React, PowerShell
skillset on business process systems similar to Logic Apps experience beneficial
experience of migration projects into SharePoint beneficial
experience with source control, SDLC, and release management

Understand DevOps culture and practices, and supports the team in maintaining and continuously improving the stability of the platform(s) and driving exceptional client experience and service.

Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Hold relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, MCSA: Web Applications, MCSD: App Builder, MCSE: Productivity etc.)
High level of organisational skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
