You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and assist in a variety of tasks.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Preparing and maintaining forecasting and cashflow modelsAssisting with monthly management accounts for multiple subsidiariesAssisting with the preparation of statutory accounts (experience with Caseware desired but not essential – training can be arranged)Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returnsDealing with accounting queries and issues for the BE Offices groupAssisting in the audit process and dealing with auditorsProduction of monthly management information/reporting packs and annual statutory accountsShort term cash flow forecasting in addition to long term panningAnalysing and identifying business processes in need of optimisation – working with senior members of the accounts team to implement structured systems and processesProject managing and maintaining streamlined processesHelping with any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Financial Controller, in-particular reporting at month/quarter/year end.Some transactional work (posting invoices, journals and payments on NetSuite) but relating to the more complex subsidiariesYou will be dealing with clients and stakeholders every day so professionalism is of the utmost importance.We strive and succeed to be the best in our industry. When substantial changes occur, the post holder will be consulted before the change is introduced and reasonable notice will be given.Personal Specification:Qualification and EducationGCSE’s or above in Business Related Area – EssentialPart Qualified CIMA/ACCA – EssentialExperience2 years working in a similar role – EssentialPrevious use of NetSuite – DesirableKnowledge of Caseware – DesirableSkills and AbilitiesAccountancy qualified (or studying for a qualification – later stages) – Desirable.
